A common question we get is where did the name Sunday Effect Film Co. come from? It's actually a pretty interesting story (at least we think so). As a kid, Blake found himself excited for the weekends on Fridays and Saturdays, but he realized that excitement would oftentimes turn to gloom on Sundays. Although he would look around to see his family and peers relaxing and enjoying themselves at the end of a weekend, he realized there was a usual disappointment he couldn't shake on Sundays. As he got older, he realized that disappointment actually came from knowing the weekend was almost over, and the next day was Monday, and thus, the phrase Sunday Effect was coined. This phrase represented all of the moments in life that are stolen by something that hasn't happened, yet, or by something that is irrelevant to what is happening here and now.
